Edner Cherry (23-5-2, 11 KOs) wins by knockout at 2:59 of the 6th rd over Wes Ferguson (17-3-1, 5 KOs)

In the sixth round, Ferguson downed with a left hook (up right away) - And at the end of the round, Ferguson

got caught with another left and hit the canvas, struggled to get up but couldn't.

 

WBO World Jr. Featherweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Daniel Ponce De Leon (34-1, 30 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Eduardo Escobedo (20-3, 14 KOs)

- Judges scored the bout 115-113, 117-111, 118-110 for Ponce De Leon - Ponce De Leon retains title.

 

Super Middleweight Bout (10 Rds)

Jeff Lacy (23-1, 17 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Peter Manfredo Jr. (28-5, 13 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 95-94, 96-93, 97-92 for Lacy. Manfredo downed in the fourth with a right.

 

Welterweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Floyd Mayweather (39-0, 25 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:35 of the 10th round over Ricky Hatton (43-1, 31 KOs)

In the sixth round, Hatton penalized a point for hitting behind the head (replay showed the punch landed on

the ropes). In the 10th round, Hatton downed with a left hook. The fight continued and Mayweather swarmed

in to finish the fight, landed a left, right, left combo and the ref jumped in to stop the fight as Hatton fell down

again. Mayweather retains title (Judges had the fight scored 89-81, 89-81, 88-82 for Mayweather up until the

stoppage).
