Judges scored the bout 78-74, 79-73, 80-72 for Beranza.

Super Middleweight Bout (8 Rds)

Daniel Jacobs (13-0, 12 KOs) wins by second round TKO over Victor Lares (14-4, 3 KOs)

Jr. Welterweight Bout (8 Rds)

Danny Garcia (10-0, 7 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Luis Alfredo Lugo (10-6-1, 5 KOs)

WBO Jr. Featherweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Juan Manuel Lopez (24-0, 22 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:38, 1st rd over Sergio Manuel Medina (33-2, 18 KOs)

Medina downed three times in the first. Lopez retains title.

NABO Jr. Welterweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Victor Ortiz (23-1-1, 18 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:19 of the 2nd round over Jeffery Resto (22-3, 13 KOs)

Resto downed twice in the first (straight left both times) and once in the second - series of punches capped

with a left - Resto got up but the ref had seen enough and stopped the bout. Ortiz retains title.

Welterweight Bout (12 Rds)

Manny Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) wins by TKO at the end of the 8th rd over Oscar De La Hoya (39-5, 30 KOs)

De La Hoya's corner wanted the bout stopped prior to the start of the ninth round (as De la Hoya was being

outworked and out punched throughout the previous eight rounds) and De La Hoya agreed and the fight was

stopped.
