was penalized a point in the ninth round for low blows.

WBA Heavyweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Nikolai Valuev (45-0, 33 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:12 of the 11th rd over Monte Barrett (31-5, 17 KOs) -

Barrett downed once in the eighth and twice in the 11th before the fight was stopped by Barrett's corner.

Valuev retains title.
