Juan Manuel Lopez (22-0, 20 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:25, 1st rd over Daniel Ponce De Leon (34-2, 30 KOs)

In the first round, Lopez landed a short right hook that sent Ponce De Leon down (up at the count of four).

The fight resumed and Lopez stalked and came in with a flurry of punches...after a brief exchange, De Leon

got caught with a flurry of punches and went down from a right....Ponce De Leon got up at the count of five

but was on very weary legs and the ref took a good look and stopped the bout. Lopez wins title from Ponce

De Leon.

WBC \ WBO Middleweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Kelly Pavlik (34-0, 30 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:40 of the third round over Gary Lockett (30-2, 21 KOs)

In the second round, Lockett went to a knee from a few rights (up at the count of eight). The fight resumed

and towards the end of the round, Lockett went to another knee from a right (up at the count of eight). In the

third round, Lockett downed to a knee from another right (up at the count of eight) but Lockett's corner threw

in the towel. Pavlik retains title.
