114-114, 114-114, 114-114 a draw. John retains title.

WBA \ WBO \ IBO Lightweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Juan Manuel Marquez (50-4-1, 37 KOs) wins by KO at 2:40 of the 9th rd over Juan Diaz (34-2, 17 KOs)

In the ninth round, Diaz was staggered with an overhand right followed up a few punches later with a left

uppercut that sent him face first onto the canvas (up at the count of four).....the fight resumed and Marquez

pounced on Diaz....going to the body before landing a left uppercut that sent Diaz back and flat on his back

and the ref quickly jumped in and stopped the bout. Marquez wins IBO title from Diaz and the vacant WBA

and WBO titles.
