HBO Championship boxing will feature a heavyweight title bout this Saturday night when WBA champion

John "The Quite Man" Ruiz faces the WBA # 1 contender and IBA heavyweight champion James "Lights

Out" Toney.

after the Jones Jr. fight when he defeated Hasim Rahman via unanimous decision in December of 2003 for

the WBA interim heavyweight title which became the full title when Jones Jr. vacated the belt.

Toney - a former middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight, and cruiserweight champion, is

coming off 12 round unanimous decision win over Rydell Booker (22-1, 12 KOs) in September of 2004 (and

won the vacant IBA heavyweight title). Toney has won his last 14 bouts and hasn't lost a fight since May of

1997 when he dropped a 12 round majority decision to Drake Thadzi (30-9-1, 25 KOs) for the IBO light

heavyweight title.
