Super Welterweight Bout (10 Rds)

Alfredo Angulo (15-0, 12 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:38 of the 5th round over Cosme Rivera (31-12-2, 23 KOs)

Rivera's corner asked the commission to stop the bout.

 

WBC Super Welterweight Interim Title Bout (12 Rds)

Sergio Martinez (44-1-2, 24 KOs) and Kermit Cintron (30-2-1, 27 KOs) battled to a majority draw - Judges

scored the bout 116-110 Martinez, 113-113, 113-113 a draw. At the end of the seventh round, Cintron

downed with a left and appeared to be counted out but after some commotion (and protest by Cintron who

was complaining he was downed by a head butt....but replay showed it wasn't).....it was ruled he was up at

the count of nine and the fight would resume (the bell rang as the ref counted nine and just as the bell

finished ringing, Cintron started to get up as the ref reached the count of ten). In the 12th round, Martinez

penalized a point for hitting behind the head.

 

IBF \ WBO \ WBA Lightweight Title Bout - vacant (12 Rds)

Nate Campbell (33-5-1, 25 KOs) wins a majority decision over Ali Funeka (30-2-2, 25 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 113-113, 115-111, 114-112 for Campbell. Campbell was the incoming champion and was

stripped of his titles on Friday for not making weight and because of this, the titles remain vacant after his

victory. Towards the end of the second round, Funeka downed with a right (up at the count of nine). In the

11th round, Funeka downed with a overhand right and a brief follow-up.
