HBO Boxing After Dark will feature former IBF and WBA Jr. Middleweight champion Fernando Vargas

against former WBC Super Welterweight champion Javier Castillejo this upcoming Saturday night in a

WBC super welterweight title eliminator bout. Vargas is coming off a 10 round decision win over Raymond

Joval this past March and is on a three fight win streak since losing his WBA title to Oscar De La Hoya via

11th round TKO in 2002. Castillejo is coming off a 5th round TKO over Enrique Campos this past June and

is on a seven fight win streak since losing his WBC title to Oscar De la hoya via a 12 round decision in 2001.

Also on the card, undefeated WBC # 1 featherweight contender Rocky Juarez will face the WBC 2nd ranked

contender Humberto Soto for the interim WBC featherweight title.
