Two Cotto vs. Abdullaev Casamayor vs. Raiymkulov

HBO Boxing After Dark will showcase a Jr. welterweight showdown on June 11th when WBO champion Miguel Cotto (23-0, 19 KOs) takes on light welterweight 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist Muhammad Abdullaev (15-1, 12 KOs). Also on the card, former WBA super featherweight champion Joel Casamayor (31-3, 19 KOs) will battle undefeated Almazbek "Kid Diamond" Raiymkulov (20-0, 12 KOs) in lightweight action.
Cotto will be looking to avenge his decision loss (17-7) to Abdullaev in the first round of the 2000 Olympic games. Cotto is coming off a 5th round TKO win over DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley (29-4-1, 16 KOs) this past February.
Abdullaev, who is the WBO inter-continental Jr. welterweight champion, is coming off a successful defense of his title with a third round knockout over Juan Godoy (16-6-1, 4 KOs) this past February.
Casamayor will look to get back on the winning track as he is coming off 12 round split decision loss to then WBC lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo (52-7-1, 46 KOs) last December (2004).
Raiymkulov has TKO'd his last four opponents within six rounds including the highly regarded and previously unbeaten Koba Gogoladze (17-1, 7 KOs) - TKO in 6 this past March.
