October 26, 2009 CSAC Public Meeting Should be a Good One

California State Athletic Commission Meeting - October 26, 2009

There will be a public meeting of the California State Athletic Commission on Monday, October 26, 2009 at

9:00am at the Junipero Serra State Building, Carmel Room, 320 West 4th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

According to the Commission, the agenda includes appeals of the following bout decisions: Jeromy Freitag

vs. Ethan Cox - July 31, 2009; Carlos De Soto vs. Jeremy Luchau - September 19, 2009; and Travis

Kauffman vs. Tony Grano - September 18, 2009.

In addition, the following promoters are seeking license approval: John Pena and Andy K. A license denial

appeal will be heard for Joshua Barnett. License revocation appeals will be heard for Danny Batchelder and

Jeremy Tavares.

Finally, and certainly the most interesting, there will be an update on the California Amateur Mixed Martial

Arts Organization (CAMO). Maybe we will finally see some rules from CAMO?

These public meetings are very informative and everyone in the mixed martial arts community should plan to

attend. I will be attending, so if you get the opportunity please introduce yourself!
