Hardcore Championship Fighting Signs Rumble in the Cage

Hardcore Championship Fighting is proud to announce the addition of Rumble in the Cage (RITC) to its

growing list of MMA promotions. RITC events will finally be showcased, coast to coast on national television,

exclusively on The Score Television Network, Home for the Hardcore (www.thescore.ca).

Rumble in the Cage (www.mixedmartialarts.ca) is an Alberta based promotion which has consistently put

on successful MMA events since 2000, while cultivating some incredible talent that is finally receiving the

recognition it deserves. RITC fighters include Pride veterans Travis Galbraith and Nick Ring, UFC veteran

Bill Mahood as well as highly ranked fighters Jesse Bongfeldt, Luke Boutin, 'Rajin' Kajan Johnson and

Justin Tavernini.

Rumble in the Cage was founded in 2000 by pro fighter and instructor Lee Mein. Mein was looking to

showcase the local talent he was developing in the Lethbridge, Alberta region and was willing to pit them

against anyone who was willing to step up and battle his warriors. Little did Mein realize that after seven

years, and 19 events later, he would finally get to showcase his MMA brand on national television. “It’s a

pleasure to be apart of Hardcore Championship Fighting Series, we feel it is a great opportunity for Rumble

in the Cage to showcase our world class events to the public. Our goal is to put on the best show in Canada.

This will give all the fight fans and fighters a chance to see our show and be apart of something big. We look

forward to working with all the fight teams and other events in Canada to help the sport grow”, stated Mein.
