M1 Grand Muay Thai Championship presented by the Stand Up Promotions crew delivered a tremendous

night of Muay Thai fighting in front of a rabid and raucous crowd at the Commerce Casino in Commerce,

California. The fighters proved that Muay Thai is a growing sport with total nonstop action. The great night of

fights was highlighted by the main event which showcased the top Muay Thai fighter in the world fighting a

gritty and determined American - A real life Rocky story.

In the main event, Saenchai Sinbimuaythai (Thailand) defeated Kevin Ross (America) by majority decision

to win the WBC Muay Thai Championship and retain his MTAA World Title. It was a classic Muay Thai fight

with breakneck action throughout including hundreds of combinations with punches, elbows, kicks and

knees flying throughout the bout along with steady clinch work. Saenchai proved his mettle as the most

complete Muay Thai fighter in the world with the victory. For Ross, even in defeat, he also showed why he

belonged in the ring with the great Saenchai, and proved to everyone watching that he is the top American

Muay Thai fighter in the world. In the end, it was Saenchai's unstoppable front kick that allowed him to

keep Ross off balance and unable to land that one devastating strike he needed in order to finish of the

legend. The American was coming forward for the entire fight, but it was Saenchai's precision in landing

power kicks and stiff punches that won the hotly-contested main event.

In the co-main event, Tetsuya Yamato (Japan) defeated Coke Chunhawat (Thailand) via TKO in Round 3.

These two fighters put on a fantastic display of striking throughout the whole fight and the end came when

Yamato landed a vicious series of elbows that opened up several cuts including a deep cut on Chunhawat's

forehead and after a bit more striking the referee called a timeout for the ringside doctor to take a look. The

doctor called a halt to the bout giving the victory to the charismatic Japanese fighter.

If you love action-packed striking, M1 Grand Muay Thai Championship is your type of event. Watch all of

the punches, kicks, knees and elbows as these masters of the "art of eight limbs" duke it out with one

another and leave everything in the ring. Order this event exclusively through the GFL Combat Sports
