Marloes Coenen wins again in an exciting Shooto match, Paulo Balicha stays World Champion and Shemsi Beqiri becomes European Champion Muay Thai!
SHOOTO: Marloes Coenen vs Romy Ruyssen Marloes Coenen won again last Saturday in Basel, Switzerland. Marloes was dominating the stand up but her opponent Romy Ruyssen showed great BJJ skills in keeping her down, especially in the second round. Marloes almost caught the talented French girl a couple of time in an armbar but Romy managed to escape everytime till Marloes caught her in a tight rear naked choke 15 seconds before the end of the fight. Romy was forced to tap out but has nothing to be ashamed of! Marloes Coenen winner by rear naked choke at 4.45m round 2.
MUAY THAI: Shemsi Beqiri vs Hubert Romankiewicz When Shemsi Beqiri entered the ring the audience went crazy! The Swiss appreciate the always spectacular fighter as he always puts up a great show. Shemisi dominated every round with exciting kicks and great combinations to capture the European Title Muay Thai! Shemsi Beqiri winner by decision: 3-0
MUAY THAI: Paulo Balicha vs Marijo Cvitanovic Paulo is the hometown favorite and there was no way to miss out on that! Paulo came out with a live singer and showed why the people are so crazy about him. Marijo was brave and fought back but Paulo was completely in control and walked away with another unanimous victory. His record is now 95-6-0! Paulo Balicha winner by decision: 3-0
