Gladiator Challenge Has A New Heavyweight Champion!

Fighters were certainly on the "Warpath" this past Saturday at the Shingle Springs Rancheria in Placerville,

California. In the main event, Rob "Caveman" Jackson pulled off a huge upset when he conquered Ruben

"Warpath" Villareal via split-decision to become the new Gladiator Challenge Heavyweight Champion!


In addition, James "The Educator" Fanshier took Rich Blake to school, earning the nod with a 2nd round

submission victory. And Jaime Jara added more hardware to his collection, as he won the GC Welterweight

Super Fight title. Here are the full results:


- Sammy Saunders defeated Christian Rios via submission (rear-naked choke) at 0:58 of the 1st round

- Freddie Aquitania defeated Ed Aguilar via TKO (strikes) at 2:38 of the 1st round

- Pete Tejada defeated Chris Darby via TKO (strikes) at 1:03 of the 1st round

- Jay Bogan defeated Jerry Brown via submission (armbar) at 0:35 of the 1st round

- Chris Sheridan defeated Manny Rocha via TKO (strikes) in the 1st round

- Johnny Goh defeated Aaron Dufor via submission (armbar) at 1:04 of the 1st round

- Nick Cummins defeated Eric Hodges via TKO (strikes) at 2:53 of the 2nd round

  the GC Welterweight Super Fight Championship

  retain the GC Middleweight Championship


- Rob "Caveman" Jackson defeated Ruben “Warpath” Villareal via split-decision to become the new GC
