Two titles will be on the line, and local favorites will excite fight fans at beautiful Red Hawk. “Champions” is sure to electrify the crowd in attendance.   Gates open at 4:30 PM, with the fights beginning at 6:00 PM. Parking will be available in Red Hawk Casino’s parking garage. A shuttle will take guests from the casino to the event.

In the main event, Larry Wasson and Josh Thornburg will wage war for the Gladiator Challenge Light

Heavyweight title. Wasson is an extremely tough fighter who will be challenged by a hungry up-and-comer

in Thornburg. The co-main event will showcase former arm-wrestling champion Rick Vardell and the massive

Gary LaFrankie in a battle of titans. The Gladiator Challenge Super-Heavyweight strap will be on the line in

that one.

Also showcased at “Champions” will be local favorite "Bad" Brad McDonald (3-1). This phenom out of

Oakdale, California who represents the Last Stand Fight Team. He made his professional debut on

November 2, 2008 for Gladiator Challenge in Porterville, California at Eagle Mountain Casino, winning by

triangle-choke over Rob Whitlock in under two minutes. In 2009, he went 2-1, delivering a Fight of the

Night-worthy performance in his only loss to John Cardoza at GC’s “Chain Reaction” event this past

December. “I make sure when I’m training that everyday that I work my hardest so when I go in there I know

that this guy didn’t work harder than me for this,” says McDonald. “I make a lot of sacrifices because this is

my life. This is all I have and all I want.”

“Champions” will surely bring exciting fight action to Red Hawk MMA fans. GC owner/promoter Tedd

Williams exclaimed, “GC is very happy to bring the action once again to the great crowds at The Shingle
