Young Guns 2 Takes Place This Saturday

August 14, 2010

Elko Indian Colony Gym

Elko, Nevada

Mixed martial arts is the fastest-growing sport in the world. Top stars

like Randy “The Natural” Couture, “The Iceman” Chuck Liddell, and

Forrest Griffin make very comfortable livings, but it hasn’t always been

that way. Years without regulation and political pressure almost killed

the sport. Yet, just as those fighters had to, the sport had to start

somewhere. And some things never change.

The top stars of today began their careers as unproven young athletes

just getting started. They struggled, trained, sacrificed, spent time away

from family…they did everything they could to make it in MMA. But

somewhere along the way, a promoter gave them an opportunity to

showcase their skills before an audience. For any of today’s top fighters,

that promoter was Tedd Williams, and the promotion was Gladiator

Challenge.

This weekend, the stars of tomorrow will put it all on the line at “Young Guns 2” in Elko, Nevada. On

Saturday at the Elko Indian Colony Gym, combatants like Jimmy Centers, Spencer Garvin, Chris Crowder,

and others will get an opportunity to showcase their skills in the Gladiator Challenge cage. They may not

have the skill set of a Couture or a Liddell yet, but like those stars, they are starting somewhere.

“Young Guns” is a perfect title for Saturday night’s fight event! Tickets are available at
