1. Two new pro members in the GTT

The German Top Team welcomes two new pro fighters in the team: Sandra Kunz and Patrick Herring of

the famous "Suum Cuique Mainz" and their trainer Mr. Matthias Werner (matthias-werner-mentaltraining.de)

agreed to train with and fight for the GTT. Both are very successful Grapplers with lots of victories at

international high level events, e.g. ADCC Belgium, ADCC Europe, Ultimate Grappling Challenge, TSUNAMI

Fighting Championships and many many  more. GTT Matchmaker Peter Angerer is very happy about the

addition of the two to the team: "I know Sandra and Patrick for quite a while now and they are very very

strong Grapplers. Patrick won the German SHIDO MMA Grand Prix this year and also Sandra is very

interested to fight in MMA in the future. They fit perfect to the team and I think that they soon will fight on top

shows around Europe."

2. Upcoming events for the GTT

The fighters of the GTT have competed all over the world in the past years, e.g. the USA, Japan and all over

Europe. Our athletes faced world class opponents at "Cage Warriors" in England (www.cagewarriors.com),

Cage Rage Contenders in Ireland (http://www.cagerage.tv), FX3 in England (www.fx3.org.uk) etc.

Now some of the Rookies and Pros of the Team prepare for upcoming fight in Ireland, England and

Luxembourg in the next months.

Markus "Arashi" Hipp, who gave his debut against no other than UFC veteran Mario "Sukata" Neto at

Cagewarriors in England last year, prepares to fight at "Fight Fiesta" in Luxembourg in September. His team

mate Philipp "Marvel" Schade will enter the Octagon of "Cage Rage Contenders" only two weeks later in

Dublin (Ireland). Franco "Ortega" de Leonardis, who is the newly crowned Lightweight Champion in SHIDO

MMA, will fight in the "Stapel MMA Fight Night" in October in Giesen (Germany) and will then eventually go

for another title at "FX3" in Reading (England). But also the Rookies of the GTT will be busy in October,

when Dominik Adam, Stefan Hoss and Raoul Göhrum will give their semi-pro debut at the "Stapel MMA

Fight Night" in  Giesen. The most seasoned and experienced veteran of the GTT, former SHIDO MMA

Welterweight Champion Peter "Yamatodamashii" Angerer will also return to the Octagon in November, when

he will fight in "FX3" in Reading (England).

You can view profiles of all our fighters at our website at http://www.german-top-team.com and if you are

interested in some of our fighters, please feel free to contact us at any time via e-mail.

3. Attack Sports - new sponsor of the GTT

With the tremendous success of our athletes we attract a lot of interest for our sport and our athletes

worldwide. Fights of our athletes are posted on websites throughout the world, aired on TV and printed in

magazines and newspapers. Attack Sports (http://www.attack-sports.de), a German based manufacturer

and dealer for MMA gear and equipment, has now become new sponsor of the GTT. In the upcoming weeks

and month both parties will support each other in promoting events and a new line of GTT clothing and

equipment will be designed, which will be available exclusively at http://www.attack-sports.de.

4. Seminars with the GTT

Do you want to learn from and with the best? Then a seminar with the top fighters and instructors of the

German Top Team is the real thing for you! Join the powerful network of GTT schools and invite our team to

your Dojo to host a one-day seminar in Thaiboxing, MMA or Grappling. We would promote the seminar on

our website and through our e-mail newsletter worldwide as well.

A seminar with the GTT would boost the reputation of your school and your fighters. Your students would

have the opportunity to train with the best and most experienced MMA fighters in our country for an

unbeatable price! Just get in touch with us at info@german-top-team.com and ask to set a date for the GTT

Seminar in your school. The seminar includes training (two 2 hours sessions) with one of the top instructors

from GTT plus we would bring the members of the GTT for this seminar, too.

5. GTT affiliated with Gracie Barra Equipe Caveirinha

It all began with a Superfight between Felipe "Furao" Della Monica of GB Caveirinha (www.caveirinha.com)

and Peter "Yamatodamashii" Angerer of the GTT at last years "Ultimate Grappling Challenge" in Mössingen.

Furao has beaten Yamatodamashii in around four minutes by Mata Leao (video of the fight: youtube.com). A

few weeks later Franco "Ortega" de Leonardis organized the first seminar with Aldo "Caveirinha" Januario

in Hanau. And also Daniel "Rednose" Ackerman of the GTT organized a seminar for Caveirinha in Mainz.

With a third seminar with Furao in Hanau and the good cooperation with german Head-Coach Peter Schira

(http://www.peter-bjj.de) the GTT and GB Equipe Caveirinha decided to cooperate and work together in the

future. Yamatodamashii got the Blue belt and Ortega and Rednose got the Purple belt from Caveirinha.

We hope we can continue this good and successful cooperation this year and we look forward to welcome

Furao and Caveirinha back to Germany as soon as possible.
