Gathright and the doctor stopped the bout.

Bates down in the second from a combo (up at the count of three) - time was called after he got up so the

doctor could check a cut above the left eye of Bates - the fight resumed but Golota was too much and the ref

had seen Bates take enough punishment and stopped the bout.
