BEST DAMN SPORTS SHOW PERIOD's successful, boxing series moves to a smaller, but much more

popular venue with its next fight card. On Friday, February 16, at 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT, BDSSP shifts

from the standard boxing arena to the grounds of the legendary Playboy Mansion.

With Hugh Hefner and his girlfriends Holly, Bridget and Kendra of "The Girls Next Door" fame sitting steps

from the ring, Playmates and Playboy Bunnies serving as ring card girls and celebrities pulling all the strings

they can just to get a ticket, this night promises to be the pinnacle of FSN's boxing coverage.

Promoted by FSN boxing partner Goosen Tutor Promotions, the two-hour fight telecast is hosted by

BDSSP's Chris Rose, Rodney Peete, Rob Dibble and Leeann Tweeden. Hall of fame boxing announcer

Barry Tompkins calls the fights alongside award-winning analyst Rich Marrotta and special guest analyst,

female fighter Mia St. John. Sean O'Grady handles pre- and post-fight interviews.

In the main event, world-ranked Tony "The Tiger" Thompson (28-1, 17 KOs) battles Timor Ibragimov (21-

1-1, 13 KOs) in a 10-round heavyweight fight. The 6-foot-5 Thompson, who is co-managed by NBA New York

Knicks' star Steve Francis, is ranked among the top-10 heavyweights by both the WBO and WBC.

The 32-year old Ibragimov is hoping to rebound after a 12-round loss to top contender Calvin Brock. A win

by Thompson catapults him to the top of the heavyweight division, putting him instantly in line for a title fight.

A win by Ibragimov resurrects his career and thrusts him back into the top-10 heavyweight rankings across

the board.

In the co-feature bout, 2004 US Olympic bronze medalist Andre Dirrell (10-0, 7 KOs) takes on power

puncher Kenny Kost (11-2, 6 KOs) in an eight-round bout. The 24-year old Dirrell, who hails from Flint, MI,

is on a mission to prove the super middleweight division belongs to him. A victory over Kost, whose deadly

left hook has sent big name fighters to the mat on many occasions, would propel Dirrell up the division's

ranks.

The telecast adds more distinguished names to the roster of fighters who have plied their trade on FSN.

Between the popular SUNDAY NIGHT FIGHTS franchise and the BDSSP live boxing series, FSN has

showcased such great fighters as James "Lights Out" Toney, Riddick Bowe, Vernon Forrest, Andre

Ward, Bernard Hopkins, Ray Mercer, Tim Witherspoon, Thomas Hearns, David Reid and Virgil Hill.
