Jhoon Rhee, The Worlds Strongest Man, Hendo...

TAE KWON DO MASTER & BRUCE LEE'S FRIEND - JHOON RHEE - SEMINAR AND Q&A

John Rhee, the "father of American Tae Kwon Do" and one of Bruce Lee's close friends, will be appearing at

Seni this year for the first time. Grandmaster Rhee, who is one of the greatest masters of Tae Kwon Do, was

instrumental in helping the late Bruce Lee develop his kicking skills. Both men trained together, ate together

and socialised together. Master Rhee is pictured above with Ali, and now at 78, continues to train and travel

around the globe conducting seminars. He is the epitome of health and fitness!

The exclusive Seni seminar is open to all martial artists’ regardless of style or level of skill. This is a great

opportunity for martial arts enthusiasts to train with a true master and one of Bruce Lee's training partners. In

addition to the seminar, Master Rhee will be r! eflecting on his relationship with his late friend Bruce Lee in a

THE WORLDS STRONGEST MAN SHOW CONFIRMS SENI

It should still be crystal clear in most minds as the 2009 Worlds Strongest Man series has just finished

airing on Bravo and produced the Lithuanian Zydrunas Savickas as the newly crowned champion beating the

old champ Mariusz Pudzianowski who came second in the now infamous yearly competition. Zydrunas has

confirmed his appearance at Seni and will go head to head with some of the other leading Worlds Strongest

Men on the Show of Strength stage. The Worlds Strongest Man brand will also be exhibiting so make sure

you stop by their space to check out the action.

AMERICAN KENPO's ED PARKER JNR AT SENI

Ed Parker, Jr. grew up among the stars, as his father was the personal karate instructor and bodyguard for

Elvis Presley in addition to a host of other Hollywood celebrities. "I remember Elvis was so impressed with

my father and his Kenpo that the King of Rock’n’Roll put my father’s martial arts logo on the side of his

guitar,” Ed Parker, Jr. recalled. Ed is flying in from the USA especially to be at SENI. Ed has

appeared/worked with Chuck Norris, James Colburn, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Wesley Snipes, Steven Ho,

Don “the dragon” Wilson, Jeff Speakman and Benny “the jet” Urquidez. Ed’s father, the late, Edmund K.

Parker, Grandmaster and founder of American Kenpo Karate, was a true pioneer in the martial arts world, a

personal friend and instructor of Bruce Lee and had a 17 year close and personal! association with and was

brother, friend, confidant and perso! nal Body Guard to Elvis Presley, so much so that Elvis would often refer

to him as “my second daddy”.

HENDOS BACK FOR MORE!

Dan Hendo Henderson one of MMA's most successful fighters will return to Seni this year. Hendo was a big

hit at Seni08 as a UFC fighter and former Pride champion and now returns to Seni as a Strikeforce fighters.

Dan will appear at the show with his company Clinchgear and also conduct a training seminar which sold

out at the last Seni show.

2ND DISNEYLAND EURO OPEN A SUCCESS!

The 2nd Disneyland European Open in Paris last weekend was a fantastic success and bursting with

competitors representing countries from across the continent. The event was held once again in Times

Square at Disneyland and amongst the hundreds of competitors, Disney medals and certificates; the event

was visited by the main Disney characters thrilling the juniors…..and most of the adults too! Britain’s Got

Talent finalists, Strike also appeared at the event and gave a free workshop.

"The Disneyland Open 2010 was a great success and a marked improvement on the first event in 2008.

Both the Free-style and BJJ events saw big improvements in numbers of competitors and in the number of

different countries participating; there was also a noticeable improvement in the standard of competition at

across one massive martial arts weekend at the London 2012 Olympic Games host venue Excel on May 29

ARM WARS SECURES EUROSPORT 2ND SERIES

Fighters Inc’s highly successful TV production International Armwrestling, has been given a renewed

contract by Eurosport. The show screens the worlds leading arm wrestling promotion Arm Wars and

features athletes from across the globe such as US giants Monster Michael Todd and the world’s greatest

armwrestler of all time John Brzenk.

Series one is currently screening prime time at 8pm CET across the Eurosport network in some 60

countries which includes most of Europe, South America and Asia.!

Series II will start with “The Gathering” an elite heavyweight battleground tournament featuring 8 of the current

worlds greatest arm wrestlers. The Gathering will be held at London’s Show of Strength on May 29 & 30,
