The sub-title may have been ‘Underground’ to reflect the show and Fighters Inc’s association with the new

British Martial Arts Movie of the same name just released on DVD but this year ‘Pain and Glory’ actually

emerged from the shadows of the mighty Seni show to prove that it can stand alone as a strong fightshow

brand in its own right. This was due in no small part to the four man tournaments across MMA, K-1 rules

and Kickboxing that rooted a spectacular and truly mixed martial arts showcase at the historic York Hall in

London. Backed by the now expected production values and ring entrances associated with a Fighters Inc

experience ‘Pain and Glory’ 09 saw a card of depth and quality and a K-1 rules tournament that exceeded

Sports Café UFC Screening – A great success!

The Sports Café is the UK's leading sports bar and on Saturday screened UFC 99 to a crowd mixed with

MMA fans and interested onlookers. The event was FREE of charge and the atmosphere was electric with

Rockstar Energy drinks sponsoring the evening. Stay tuned for more screening announcements.

 

Beach Arm Wars

The next Arm Wars Super Series is being held at The Trafford Centre in Manchester on July 11 & 12. Our

first outdoor event is set to take place on the weekend of August 14-16 on Santa Ponsa Beach Mallorca,

Spain. Both shows will be broadcast on Fighters Inc’s International Armwrestling series on Eurosport across

Europe. You can watch International Amwrestling each Monday at 7:30pm UK time or 8:30pm continental

time.

 

The Bodyguard – A New Beginning

Following the successful release of “Underground” Action Extreme can announce the latest release of its

next movie.

 

With Protection comes loyalty…with honour comes betrayal

 

A UK/ Hong Kong Co-Production, ‘Bodyguard - A New Beginning’ tells the story of Leung (Vincent Sze),

the bodyguard of a Hong Kong Triad boss, Wong (Richard Ng), who is sent to the UK to protect a woman

(Stephanie Langton) whose identity is known only by his boss. Even the boss’ own errant son, Yuen

(CarlNg), is kept in the dark. The efforts of a rival boss, Kai (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) to take over Wong’s

territory leads Yuen to a betrayal that threatens to destroy all that his father has worked hard to protect.

prestigious The Notting Hill Film Festival held at the Kensington Odeon from July 11-15.
