Hello Fight Fans,
Ticky Donovan honoured Fighters Inc recently organised a testimonial evening to honour a “Great” amongst the Karate fraternity. The Ticky Donovan Testimonial was a celebration of an incredible career after Ticky recently retired from the England’s head coach postion. The event was jam packed with Karateka wanting to honour Ticky and was attended by new coach Wayne Otto and by Hanshi Steve Arneil who were among the guest speakers on the night. Pain and Glory Muay Thai tournament line up The 4 Man Muay Thai Tournament sees four unique characters battling it out at Light Welterweight, including the return of Will Hastings, the former British number one, a return that could shake-up the light welterweight division. In his way are Former WKA World Champion Mati Parks, Denis Faulkner a Full Thai rules specialist and Femi Akinade a silky smooth stylist and possibly the dark horse of this intriguing line-up.
Female Muay Thai superstar and the first Lady of Pain and Glory, Bernice Alldis makes a welcome return as she once more takes on International opposition in the shape of Eleonara Batista who hails from Rome and is highly regarded in her home country.

European Open during Half Term Such was the success of the first European Festival of Martial Arts in Disneyland that organisers Botel events and Fighters Inc have been able to secure Half Term in Feb 2010 as the dates for the second EFMA event. The show is now set for 19-21 Feb at the New York Hotel in Times Square right in the heart of Disneyland. EFMA will include The European Open, The EFMA Seminar Series and an All Stars Team Challenge. Fighting Spirit Film Festival Due to the absence of Seni expo the highly innovative Fighting Spirit Film Festival will take place as part of the Notting Hill Film Festival. As one of the UK’s leading cinematic showcase, the Notting Hill Festival will now screen a UK martial arts action movie per day across the week long festival supplied by Fighters Inc’s new film and TV label Action Extreme. Fights Camera Action! New UK distribution label Action Extreme is set to launch, headed by Intense Productions and Fighters Inc. The new label will be releasing Film, TV & Sports content focusing on the action genre.
“Action Extreme aims to bring dynamic and exciting action content to audiences in the UK from both the UK and around the world”, states Chee Keong Cheung. “There’s a real demand for action content in the UK which is constantly growing. Sports Café announce a UFC Big Screen Experience The Sports Café will be making a night of it come Saturday 13th June when it hosts a themed UFC evening to screen UFC99 live from Germany.
