European Top Ten

Fighter Rankings

By Groundandpound.de

December, 2006

The good folks over at www.groundandpound.de have updated their exclusive European Top Ten fighter

rankings. As stated on their website: To be considered for this list, European fighters have to have fought

here at least once in the last 12 months. Non-European fighters will only make the list, when they have

fought at least once in the last 8 months here plus an additional fight which may date back to 14 months.

This rule intends to keep out the numerous guest fighters that come to fight in Europe, but most definitely

wont be back and have no standing in the European scene. Mark Coleman was the perfect example, as he

fought in the Netherlands in 2005, and would have blocked the list for 12 months under the old rules. If a

Non-European fighter has fought here at least twice in the last 8 months, he will be considered in the list,

even though he might not have the mandatory second fight up to 14 months (f.e. Kanomata). To view all the

fighter information which includes their performance in their last five fights plus their overall record, visit:
