Jr. Middleweight Bout (4 Rds)

Erislandy Lara (4-0, 3 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:09 of the first round over Keith Gross (3-1, 1 KOs)

In the first round, Gross downed with a straight left (up at the count of five but a bit wobbly) - the fight

resumed and Lara pounced on Gross.....eventually downing Gross again (left upper cut) and the ref had seen

enough and stopped the bout.

Jr. Lightweight Bout (8 Rds)

Yuriorkis Gamboa (14-0, 12 KOs) wins by KO at :35 of the first round over Walter Estrada (30-9, 20 KOs)

In the first round, Estrada downed with a short right and stayed down...taking the 10 count.

Heavyweight Bout (4 Rds)

Ramon Garbey (18-4, 13 KOs) vs. Mike Sheppard (11-8-1, 6 KOs)

In the third round, Sheppard downed with a straight right (up at the count of eight). In the fourth round,

Sheppard downed with a straight right (up at the count of seven). The fight resumed and at the end of the

round, Sheppard got tagged with another straight right that staggered him and his gloves touched the canvas

for a standing eight count to end the round.

Jr. Middleweight Bout (10 Rds)

Breidis Prescott (21-0, 18 KOs) wins by DQ at 1:58 of the 10th rd over Humberto Toledo (34-6-2, 20 KOs)

In the seventh round, Toledo was stunned with a left hook (fell onto the ropes) and received a standing eight

count. In the eighth round, Toledo was penalized a point for holding and punching. In the 10th round, Toledo

was penalized two points for biting Prescott on the neck.....and after looking at the bite further (very visible),

the ref disqualified Toledo for biting.
