Lightweight Bout (10 Rds)

Cristobal Cruz (39-12-3, 23 KOs) and Art Hovhannesyan (14-0-2, 8 KOs) battled to a technical draw.

Judges scored the bout 39-37 Cruz, 39-37 Hovhannesyan, 38-38 a split draw.  In the fourth round, Cruz was

cut above the right eye from an accidental head butt and the bout was stopped (at 2:37).


Lightweight Bout (6 Rds)

Mikey Faragon (16-0, 7 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:32 of the second round over Ira Terry (24-6, 14 KOs)

In the second round, Terry was getting tagged - being hurt to the body and getting caught up top and the ref

had seen enough and stopped the bout.


USBA Jr. Welterweight Title  Bout (10 Rds)

Vernon Paris (25-0, 15 KOs) wins by TKO at :27 of the seventh round over Tim Coleman (19-2-1, 5 KOs)

In the second round, Paris got caught with a short right that buckled his knees and caused his gloves to

touch the canvas and he got an eight count. Towards the end of the sixth round, Coleman went down from a

left to the body (up at the count of six). The fight resumed and with less than 10 seconds left in the round,

Coleman went down again from a left to the body - up at the count of five to end the round. At the beginning

of seventh round, Coleman went down from another left to the body and the ref quickly waved the fight over.

Paris wins title from Coleman.


Lightweight Bout (4 Rds)

Sergio Nunez (3-0-1, 2 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Ricardo Cubias (0-1) - Judges scored the

bout 40-36, 40-36, 40-36 for Nunez.
