Light Heavyweight Bout (4 Rds)

Alexander Johnson (5-0, 3 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Zeferino Albino (3-6-1, 1 KO) - Judges

scored the bout 40-35, 40-35, 40-36 for Johnson. Albino penalized a point in the fourth round for spitting out

his mouthpiece.

Cruiserweight Bout (8 Rds)

Ola Afolabi (13-1-3, 5 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Deleon Tinsley (9-4-1, 5 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 79-73, 78-74, 77-74 for Afolabi. In the first round, Tinlsey went down from a left jab (up right

away).

Middleweight Bout (10 Rds)

Ishmail Arvin (15-1-4, 6KOs) wins by TKO at the end of the 6th rd over Anthony Thompson (23-3, 17KOs)

In the third round, Arvin downed with a left hook (up right away). The fight resumed and Arvin was downed

again, this time from a left jab. The fight was stopped in-between the sixth and seventh round due to a bad

cut, swollen left eye of Thompson (cut happened in the third round). There was some controversy after the

stoppage whether the cut was caused by a accidental clash of heads or not - if it was, they would go to the

score cards....if not, then Arvin would win by TKO as Thompson could not continue. The ESPN2 replay

clearly showed the cut was due to an accidental clash of heads. The ref actually checked with the ESPN2

announcers and saw a replay of the clash of heads. The ref informed the commission what he saw on the

replay and stated that when the clash occurred, he didn't recognize as such but after seeing the replay, he

believed it could have occurred as such....eventually, even the commission viewed the replay. After some

heated discussion, it was ruled that Thompson couldn't not continue and Arvin was awarded the TKO win to

the dismay of Thompson. According to the announcers, the commission ruled that the ref had called it a

TKO at the time of the stoppage and that's what mattered.
