Marcus Broadnax (3-1-1-1NC, 2 KOs) vs. Derrick Samuels (6-2-1-1NC, 1 KO) ended in a no-contest at

2:49 of the fourth round. In the fourth round, both men were coming in with body punches and leading with

their head - they collided heads which put Samuels down on one knee - it was a pretty hard clash of heads -

the ref stopped the bout so the doctor could check Samuels - Samuels broke his nose - Doctor stopped the

bout - the clash of heads was ruled accidental. Because the fourth round had not ended, bout was ruled a

no-contest (explanation given by the ring announcer).

Side note: after the last score was read, Campbell thought he won the fight and started to celebrate when he

heard "and new IBO champion" even though it was Hlatshwayo's name being read and not Campbell.
