Congratulates Alejandro Montero for his A1 Participation

Don Team Argentina would like to congratulate Alejandro Orteguia Montero for his performance at the

second edition of A1 International (Muay Thai) tournament this past Sunday. The first fight saw Orteguia go

up against the Brazilian Júnior - who this year competed in Thailand as part of the Brazilian delegation.

Orteguia dominated the fight with his low kicks and jumping in with his repeated knees and elbows. Winner

by unanimous decision: Orteguia.

The second fight saw Orteguia go up against Lightning Lopez. Orteguia won by first round TKO with an

elbow (it should be noted that Lopez came into the fight already hurt with a cut from his previous bout).

The third and final bout: Orteguia vs. Nicolás Rey. Orteguia controlled the fight with his low strikes and front

kicks, he was the one who threw more strikes, worked more and used more various techniques but the

judges - one Brazilian judge had Orteguia winning while both judges from the organizing academy and friends

of Rey gave it to Rey. I've lived this many times but this time, luckily, all the public, referees, Master

Camacho from Brazil, friends of Rey and even the door security told us the same thing....Orteguia won...and

therefore, Don Team Argentina once again Congratulates Alejandro Orteguia Montero for his victories in

the second A1 International (Muay Thai) tournament.

Don Team Argentina felicita a Alejandro Orteguia Montero por su desempeño en la segunda edición del

A1 Internacional - el primer encuentro de Ortega en el A1 fue contra el Brazilero Júnior que este año

compitió en Thailandia para la selección Brazilera......Ortega domino toda la pelea con sus low y saltando

en reiteradas oportunidades con rodillas y codos - ganador por fallo unánime: Ortega.

Segundo encuentro vs. El Relámpago Lopez - Ortega gana por nku técnico en el primer asalto con un

golpe de codo (vale aclarar que Lopez ya venia lastimado por un corte sufrido en la pelea anterior).

Tercera pelea y final: Ortega vs. Nicolás Rey. Ortega manejo el encuentro con sus low manos y frontales,

fue quien mas pego, mas trabajo, mas variedad uso pero los jueces - una Brazilera quien vio ganador a

Ortega y dos de la academia organisadora y por ende compañeros de Rey se la dieron a Rey - ya viví esto

muchas veses pero esta ves por suerte todo el publico, árbitros, el maestro Camacho de Brazil, los

compañeros de Rey y hasta los policías de la puerta nos digieron lo mismo....Ortega gano, y por lo tanto el

Don Team Argentina vuelve a felicitar a Alejandro (Orteguita) Montero por el triunfo en el segundo A1.
