C3 is coming MAY 21st!!!

The C3 Tournament is coming May 21st, 2011 to Calumet High School in Gary, Indiana.

C3 has made some changes for this upcoming tournament. First we have broken the tournaments up to be

GI only or NO-GI only. TORNEO DE MAYO will be the first tournament to be GI ONLY. Our next tournament

in July, "THE PATRIOT GAMES" will be completely NO-GI. Many competitors used to sign up for both GI

and NO-GI but end up dropping out of the NO-GI due to exhaustion. By doing this change we can offer more

money to the absolute division winners and start the tournament later in the morning, making it easier for

traveling competitors.

Second, we have expanded the kids divisions. For the kids division, there are now multiple age divisions: 4

to 6 years, 7 to 9 years, and 10 to 12 years old. The kids skill divisions will be beginner, intermediate, and

Finally, we have also changed locations. The new tournament location offers more space and better facilities.

We are excited to be moving to Calument High School.

Just like past C3 tournaments, we will be giving cash prizes away to all of the adult male absolute winners.

That's right. These divisions are stacked and what better way to celebrate winning one of these divisions by

getting some cash!

Each winner of the Adult Male Absolute Gi will receive cash. This includes white belt all the way to black

belt (A total of $2000 dollars). These absolute divisions will be done before the individual weight classes so

nobody will be tired for the absolute brackets. Award Amounts are $200 for White, $300 for Blue, and $400

for Purple belts; $500 for Brown Belts; $600 for Black Belts.

C3 is still one of the cheapest tournaments around and always improving based on your feedback. Don't

forget to pre-register, not only do you save $5 but you also get a free t-shirt!
