C3 is coming JULY 31st!!!
The C3 "THE PATRIOT GAMES" BJJ/SW Tournament is coming July 31st, 2010 to Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Indiana.
C3 has made some changes for this upcoming tournament. First we have expanded the kids and teen divisions. For the kids division, there are now multiple age divisions: 4 to 6 years, 7 to 9 years, and 10 to 12 years old. The teen divisions have been broken up into two age divisions: 13 to 15 years old (early teen) and 16 to 17 years old. The early teen division has also been divided into white, yellow, orange, and green belt divisions.
Also for this tournament we have moved the kids, teens, and women divisions to start one hour earlier to allow for even smoother tournament flow. Check the new tournament brochure for the updated schedule.

Just like past C3 tournaments, we will be giving cash prizes away to all of the adult male absolute winners in Gi and No-Gi. That's right. These divisions are stacked and what better way to celebrate winning one of these divisions by getting some cash!
Each winner of the Adult Male Absolute Gi will receive cash. This includes white belt all the way to black belt (A total of $1300 dollars). These absolute divisions will be done before the individual weight classes so nobody will be tired for the absolute brackets. Award Amounts are $200 for White, Blue, and Purple belts; $300 for Brown Belts; $500 for Black Belts.
Each winner of the Adult Male Absolute No-Gi will receive cash. This includes all three divisions: beginner, intermediate, and advanced (A total of $1100 dollars). These absolute divisions will be done before the individual weight classes so nobody will be tired for the absolute brackets. Award Amounts are $300 for Beginner and Intermediate; $500 for Advanced. Be aware we will be watching for sandbaggers (especially in the No-Gi)!
C3 is still one of the cheapest tournaments around and always improving based on your feedback. Don't forget to pre-register, not only do you save $10 but you also get a free t-shirt!

C3 HAS EARLY WEIGH-INS!!! C3 offers early registration and weigh-ins the night before all grappling events! This will allow competitors to fill out paperwork, pay, and weigh-in the night before! No more worrying about trying to make weight the day of the tournament.
Early Door Registration & Weigh-Ins for the May 8th Event will be at IUN (same location as the tournament) from 6 to 8 pm on May 7th.

EXPANDED KIDS AND TEEN DIVISIONS Kids and Teen Divisions have been broken up into different age ranges. For kids there are now three age divisions: 4 to 6 years, 7 to 9 years, and 10 to 12 years old. For Teens there are two age divisions: 13 to 15 years and 16 to 17 years old. The 13 to 15 year old division (called the early teen division) will also be broken up into different belt ranges consisting of white, yellow, orange, and green.
NEW SCHEDULE Kids, Teens, and Women Divisions have been changed to start one hour earlier then before. Check the schedule on the website or in the new tournament flyer.
NEW TOURNAMENT FLYER Competitors can now obtain a ton of new information in the new tournament flyer. This new multipage flyer contains all the information needed for competitors to have the best tournament experience on the day of the tournament.
