Mez Sports & Val Leedy Productions Present California Xtreme Fighting The Uprising in Upland – CXF Returns June 14, 2008

California Xtreme Fighting returns on June 14th at the Upland Sports Arena in Upland, CA. with the second of four exciting MMA cards this year.
Headlining "Uprising in Upland" will be EliteXC vet Bao Quach (13-8-1) taking on KOTC veteran Armando Sanchez (9-6) in an exciting 145lb featherweight rematch.
The last time these two fought Quach won by controversial TKO. The last fight was under modified rules with no elbows or knees allowed but this time everything goes. Quach is on a 7 fight winning streak that started with the controversial victory over Sanchez and Sanchez is looking to turn around his fortunes having lost his last fight after a three fight winning streak. Both fighters are mean strikers with hard chins and this fight promises to be a war.
Also on the card in Sophie Bagherdai (3-1), returning to her home town to fight Las Vegas' Jamie Lynn. Bagherdai is a Fatal Femme veteran who started her career with a 3 fight winning streak which was stopped by Carina Damm who later tested positive for steroids after the fight. Bagherdai wants return to her winning ways and show her true mettle against a hard striker and former kickboxer in Jamie Lynn in front of her hometown crowd. This will be an epic battle in women's MMA.
Also expected to fight on the card are Seth Dikun, Martin Bautista, Fernando Serrattos, Fredrico Lopez, Joe Schelling, Maurice Doucette, Francisco Rivera, KOTC Vet Dave Cryer, John George, Mike Ancheta, Aaron Miller, undefeated Jason High, and international fighting star Ferrid Kheder.
