CageFighting Championships 2

Liverpool, UK

Golden Glory fighter Paul Cahoon and his business partner Daniel Taylor bring us CageFighting

Championships 2 this weekend, November 14th at the Liverpool Olympia.

With an almost sellout crowd for his first show, Paul promised that his shows will keep getting bigger and

fighters will keep getting better purses and so far he’s kept his promise.

On a card with 11 MMA fights and one Thai fight, Paul and Daniel have not come up with just one or two

headline bouts but five.

The four novice fights see fighters ranging from 65 to 110Kg (143 - 243 lbs.) stepping into the cage for their

first or second time with fighters from Cyprus, France and Ireland in a veritable England versus the rest of

Europe under card.

Then, two intermediate bouts see Team Schreiber fighters in action against English opponents in what

promise to be standup wars. Geoff Oughton protégé, Michael Hobbs, takes on Marco Merodio and Paul

‘Terminator’ Taylor is in action against Dann Kooiman.

Jiu Jitsu Fighter Mark Goddard will put it all on the line against the Georgian Gladiator Tengiz Tedoradze.

Tengiz’s only two losses both come via triangle choke and Mark coming from a Jiu Jitsu background might

be the man to hand him a third submission loss. This fight should tell us how far Tengiz’ Game has evolved.

Hardhitting Welterweights Daniel Weichel* from Germany and Mohamed Khacha from the French Top

Team will face off in what promises to be yet another stand up war. Paul like others feels that these two

fighters are two of the best among Europe’s Welterweights and has promised a top American opponent for

the winner.

Golden Glory’s Faith Kocamis, fresh off a KO victory over Mark “The Beast” Epstein will again be in

action against the UK’s own Alex Cook. Cook will be looking to add a top European Scalp to his 4-2-0

record while Kocamis looks to extend his 4 fight winning streak.

Antony Rea makes his long awaited UK debut in this event. Antony was so determined to fight in the UK

that after his original opponent pulled out due to injury, Antony agreed to fight at Heavyweight. His opponent

on the night will be Milco Voorn, a member of Team Schreiber with a 12-1 record who will be no pushover

for the tough Frenchman.

The final Headlining bout sees Paul himself fighting. Paul, though a Light heavyweight fighter, has often

fought against Heavyweights, sometimes giving up as much as 25Kg (55 lbs.).  He had his last fight over two

years ago against UFC veteran Amar Suloev in Holland.  Even though he's the only English fighter ever to

conquer the Dutch crowd, earning their respect as a warrior for never refusing a fight and never giving up,

Paul has decided to come back to the UK and rebuild his career at home, this will mark his first fight as a

Heavyweight.

In this, his comeback fight and his return to UK soil for the first time since the year 2000, he will take on

Dutch standup fighter Samir Bourekba.

The promise of another unforgettable night in UK MMA beckons!
