Cage Wars returns to the Kings Hall and once again promises a fantastic night of all out Mixed Martial Arts

action.

Fighters from around the world will descend upon Belfast to face off against the UK’s best new talent inside

the cage.

Cage Wars – Decade will be the 10th Cage Wars event to take place in the UK and it also marks ten years

of MMA promotions for the Cage Wars team.

Top Irish talent Colin “The Gift” Mc Kee will face US fighter Robert Thompson in a three round grudge match.

Thompson who took the US title from James Orso in Alabama last year sees Mc Kee as a worthy opponent.

Mc Kee also defeated James Orso in a three round war last year in Belfast but the fight was not sanctioned

for the US belt and Mc Kee now feels that if he can stop Thompson, then he can score a moral victory in the

process. The war of words began on the Internet and will now be settled inside the Cage Wars arena in

March.

Chris Stringer the 70kg phenom from Lisburn who made it down to the last 10 UK fighters for the latest

season of TUF (US Reality Show about MMA) will also be on the card. Stringer looks set to face Tom

Ahrens from Texas after defeating Tim Estes another US fighter last year.

Also appearing on the card from the UK will be Daniel Abrol, Peter Duncan who has become an Internet

sensation because of his powerhouse wrestling slams and Lee Mc Kibbin who won the US Southern League

title last year in Alabama.

The fight card will also feature athletes from Holland, Switzerland, Brazil and Scotland. A total of 12 fights

will take place on March 29th producing an exciting night of action.

“ We are very happy to be back at the Kings Hall,” said Cage Wars spokesman and Fight Factory TV

presenter Jonny Burrows. “ The Kings Hall has become our spiritual home and it is so well known all over the

world because of the many international fighting events that have been held there over the years, Cage Wars

– Decade will be our best production yet and we can promise the best fight action that Northern Ireland has

ever seen!”
