Welterweight Bout (8 Rds) Jose Correa (12-1, 3 KOs) wins by TKO at of the sixth round over Hernan Galaviz (14-12-1, 11 KOs) Galaviz went down from a right hook at the end of the first round (up at the count of eight). Galaviz went down in the second from a clubbing right hook (up at the count of four). In the sixth round, Galaviz took a right uppercut that hurt him, saw that Correa was about to strike and took a knee - he was up at the count of eight but the ref had seen enough and stopped the bout. Good win for Correa and gutsy performance by Galaviz.
