In the sixth round, Mendoza downed with a right, got up before the count of eight but was not responding to

the refs questions so the ref stopped the bout. Escobedo wins title.

Lightweight Bout (4 Rds)

Ricardo Delgado (1-0) wins by third round TKO (cut) over Luis Martinez (1-1)

At the end of the third round, the doctor checked a cut on Delgado's left eye (corner) and decided to stop the

bout (the corner never got the opportunity to work on the cut after the third round ended).

Featherweight Bout (10 Rds)

Daniel Ponce De Leon (33-1, 30 KOs) wins by KO at 2:39, 5th rd over Reynaldo Lopez (27-6-2, 19 KOs)

In the fifth round, De Leon landed a left that sent Lopez to the canvas - he was hurt and wasn't getting up...

ref called the bout.
