Zuniga penalized a point for two low blows in the first round. In the second round, Zuniga penalized two

points for landing another low blow. Also towards the end of the second round, Zuniga dropped Cortes briefly

to a knee with a straight right. Early in the third round, Zuniga landed another low blow which caused the ref

to step in and disqualify Zuniga for excessive low blows.

WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight Title Bout (12 Rds) - vacant

Cristobal Arreola (21-0, 19 KOs) wins by KO at 1:45 of the 3rd rd over Thomas Hayes (27-1, 19 KOs)

In the third round, Hayes downed with a left uppercut and the ref stopped the bout - Arreola wins title.

Rafael Lopez (2-0, 2 KOs) wins by knockout at :41 of the 1st rd over Jose Hurtado (0-1)

In the first round, Hurtado downed with a right, left combo and the ref stopped the bout.

Super Featherweight Bout (4 Rds)

Ricardo Martinez (1-1) wins a unanimous decision over Jesus Hernandez (4-1) - Judges scored the bout

39-36, 39-36, 38-37 for Martinez. Hernandez downed in the fourth with a right (up at the count of four).
