- ref stops the fight on advise from the doctor due to a cut \ swollen left eye on I. Rodriquez.

 

Super Bantamweight Bout (4 Rds)

Eric Estrada (1-0) wins a unanimous decision over Selso Bosquez (3-2, 2 KOs) - Judges scored the bout

40-36, 40-36, 40-36 for Estrada...And no, it's not Ponch.

 

Lightweight Bout (10 Rds)

Fernando Trejo (29-11-4, 18 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Juan Ramon Cruz (15-4-1, 11 KOs) -

Judges scored the bout 97-92, 97-92, 95-94 for Trejo. In the fourth round, Trejo got nailed with a low blow and

took what seemed like the full five minutes to recuperate (he was told by the ref that if he didn't continue, he

would lose - he couldn't win the bout on a low blow). In the fifth round, Cruz nailed Trejo with another low blow

causing the ref to penalize Cruz a point (he also told Cruz that if he landed another low blow, he would be

disqualified).
