Argenis Mendez (9-0, 6 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Jorge Ruiz (5-3-1, 0 KO) - Judges scored

the bout 80-67, 80-67, 80-67 for Mendez (not a typo). In the first round, Ruiz went to his hands and knees

from a left - got up quickly, shaking his head no while walking it off. In the third round, a left to the body

made Ruiz take a knee - stood up quickly. In the fifth round, Ruiz was stunned with a combo - Mendez then

followed up with a right that missed and a left that landed (that hurt Ruiz) - Mendez then followed up with

another right that hit the gloves and a left that looked like it grazed the head of Ruiz that sent him down

again - Ruiz got up right away again. In the sixth round, Ruiz was downed for the fourth time with a short left

hook - got up right away looking miffed that he went down. And adding insult to injury, in the seventh round,

Ruiz was penalized a point for holding.
