At the beginning of the second round, Dargan landed a left that slightly buckled Ruiz's legs but they were

tying up - and as they were clinching, Ruiz threw a punch back but then the ref stepped in and decided to

give Ruiz a protective standing eight count which really angered Ruiz. The fight resumed and after a brief

exchange, Ruiz was downed to a knee from a right (up right away). In the third round, Ruiz downed from a

right hook, left to the body combo (up at the count of five). In the fifth round, Ruiz downed to a knee from a

right - got up at the count of ten but the ref waved the fight over to Ruiz's dismay.

Super Welterweight Bout (4 Rds)

Mike Dargan (1-1-1) and Jason Montgomery (1-0-1) battled to a draw - Judges scored the bout 39-37

(fighter not stated), 38-38, 38-38 a majority draw.
