WBC Latino Welterweight Title Bout - vacant (10 Rds)

Sebastian Lujan (33-5-2, 21 KOs) wins by TKO at :40 of the 5th round over Jailer Berrio (13-7, 7 KOs)

In the final minute of the fourth round, Berrio was briefly sent to a knee from a couple of body blows and was

given a standing eight count...the fight resumed and after a brief exchange. Berrio was downed from a left to

the body - up at the count of seven.  The fight resumed and Lujan landed a left to the head that sent Berrio to

a knee as the bell sounded to end the round. At the beginning of the fifth round, Lujan landed a right that

buckled Berrio's knees and after a few more punches to the body, Berrio went down (up quickly). After the

eight count, the fight resumed and Lujan chased down Berrio - hammering him with punches. Lujan

eventually landed a left to the body that sent Berrio down and the ref jumped in to stop the bout as Lujan

took a swipe with his right at the downed Berrio.

 

WBC Latino Lightweight Title Bout - vacant (10 Rds)

Marcelino Lopez (18-0, 7 KOs) wins a majority decision over Alberto Santillan (16-5, 5 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 95-95, 97-94, 96-94 for Lopez - crowd booed the decision.
