Super Bantamweight Bout (10 Rds)

Antonio Escalante (18-2, 11 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:08 of the 3rd rd over David Martinez (18-4-1, 3 KOs)

In the third, Martinez was hurt by a flurry of punches (most damage came from body punches) - eventually,

Martinez had to take a knee from the punishment - the ref started the count, Martinez stood up at the count

of eight but the ref took a good look and decided to stop the bout.

Bantamweight Bout (6 Rds)

Michael Franco (11-0, 8 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:59 of the 2nd rd over Benito Abraham (9-11-4, 6 KOs)

In the second round, Abraham downed with a right (up at the count of six).  The fight resumed and Abraham

was downed again, this time with a right to the body (up at the count of seven) - the ref asked Abraham if he

was ready to continue and Abraham shook his head no and the ref stopped the bout.

Super Bantamweight Bout (10 Rds)

Jhonny Gonzalez (38-6, 32 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:32, 4th rd over Mauricio Pastrana (34-9-2, 22 KOs)

In the fourth round, Pastrana was staggered with a right and downed with two left uppercuts (up at the count

of four) - the fight resumed and Gonzalez unleashed a flurry of punches on Pastrana against the ropes and

the ref jumped in and stopped the bout.

Flyweight Bout (4 Rds)

Antonio Villareal (8-2, 4 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Jamie Gutierrez (3-2) - Judges scored the

bout 40-35, 40-35, 39-36 for Villareal. At the end of the second round, Gutierrez downed with a left hook (up

at the count of eight).
