Venegas did not come out for the fourth round because his corner stopped the bout due to a cut above his

right eye.

Super Featherweight Bout (4 Rds)

Wilton Hilario (2-0, 2 KO) wins by TKO at 1:11 of the first round over Jeremy Lee Marts (3-2, 3 KOs) -

Marts was doubled over from a body blow (left hook) but didn't go down and the ref didn't call it a knockdown

- Marts then got hit again in the same spot and hit the canvas - he got up at eight but got hit again in the

same spot and hit the canvas doubled over as the ref stopped the fight.

Lightweight Bout (10 Rds)

David Diaz (30-1-1, 16 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Silverio Ortiz (12-9, 6 KOs) - Judges scored

the bout 96-93, 96-93, 97-93 for Diaz - The fight was a lot closer than the scores indicated - should have

been ruled a draw - Diaz got rocked by a straight right in the fourth round and his glove touched the canvas

trying to keep his balance but the ref didn't see the glove touch the canvas which should have been counted

as a knockdown. Diaz rocked Ortiz in the eighth round with an upper cut.
