Welterweight Bout (8 Rds)

Troy Wilson (6-3-1, 3 KOs) wins by TKO at 2:36 of the third round over Jose Felix (10-4-2, 3 KOs) - In the

third round, Felix started to go down from a left hook to the body, took a knee in the corner and while on one

knee, Wilson followed through with a very late looping right to the back of the head of Felix - ref called time

so the doctor could check Felix - ref stated that if Felix could go on, Wilson would be penalized two points

for hitting a downed opponent - If Felix couldn't go on, Wilson would be disqualified - Felix stated he wanted

to continue but his corner inexplicably stopped the bout to the dismay of Felix.

 

Featherweight Bout (6 Rds)

Pasquel Rouse (18-11-3, 11 KOs) wins by knockout at 1:40 of the 3rd rd over Mario Lacey (7-15-4, 6 KOs)

In the first round, Lacey downed with a left hook (up at the count of six) - In the second round, Lacey downed

from what looked like a left hook to the body (up at the count of three) - Replay showed Lacey could have

gone down from an accidental clash of heads - In the third round, Lacey downed with a huge left hook and

was counted out.

 

IBA Jr. Featherweight Bout (12 Rds)

Al Seeger (27-1, 21 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:22 of the second round over Cesar Morales (19-5, 13 KOs)

Morales downed in the second round from a right down the middle (up at the count of six) - Morales

continued but was taking a lot of punches and the ref stopped the bout at the request of Morales' corner -

Seeger retains title.

 

Supper Middleweight Bout (4 Rds)

Roberto Failey (1-0-0-1 NC, 1 KO) wins by TKO at :41 of the third round over Mike Shaffer (1-1, 1 KO)

After the fight, Failey and his corner went over to pay their respects to Shaffer's corner and Shaffer

responded by slapping one of Failey's cornerman hands and yelling "I ain't got hurt" - Failey just turned

around and walked away smiling.
