Miguel Angel Huerta (24-7-1, 17 KOs) wins by sixth round TKO over Antonio Ramirez (24-13-6, 17 KOs)

Ramirez downed in the second round from a short left but got right back up. Late in the fifth round, Ramirez

was hurt by two lefts and tripped over Huerta's right foot (off balance) and fell to a knee trying to avoid

Huerta's punches and the ref counted it as a knockdown and give Ramirez a standing eight count. Ramirez

did not answer the bell to start the sixth round and the ref stopped the bout at the :01 mark.

Welterweight Bout (4 Rds)

Gustavo Palacios (1-0) wins a unanimous decision over Johnny Higgins Jr. (0-2) - Judges scored the bout

40-36, 40-36, 39-37 for Palacios.
