Lucas Matthysse (27-0, 25 KOs) wins by first round TKO over Rogelio Castaneda (26-16-3, 8 KOs

In the first round, Castaneda downed from a left hook (up at the count of three). The fight resumed and

Castaneda eventually went down from an accumulation of punches (up right away). The fight resumed and

Castaneda got nailed with a straight right that sent him down into the ropes - and as he was going

down, his corner threw in the towel.

 

WBO Latino Welterweight Title Bout (10 Rds)

Sebastian Lujan (34-5-2, 22 KOs) wins by seventh round TKO over Emilio Julio (17-8-1, 9 KOs) - Julio

didn't come out for the seventh round.

 

Welterweight Bout (6 Rds)

Leandro Albronoz (12-2, 5 KOs) wins a split decision over Mateo Veron (6-4-1) - Judges scored the bout

59-57.5, 56.5-59.5, 59-57.5 for Albronoz. In the fifth round, Veron went down from what looked like an

overhand right but what the replay showed was more of a slip of his right foot in a corner - he got up right

away but it counted as a knockdown.

 

Heavyweight Bout (6 Rds)

Matias Bidondo (4-0, 4 KOs) wins by first round knockout over Jorge Ramos (1-5, 1 KO) - In the first

round, Bidondo had Ramos in a corner and Ramos went down from a phantom body blow (holding his

stomach in pain) although no punches were thrown in that area at the time he went down - and he took the
