Herman Galaviz (13-11-1, 10 KOs) vs. Andrik Saralegui (17-1, 13 KOs) ended at 1:02 of the third round

in a no-contest (needed to get to the fourth round to go to the scorecards) - both fighters where cut above

the right eye from an accidental head-butt in the third round and the doctor stopped the bout after checking

the cut on Galaviz.

 

Super Flyweight Bout (4 Rds)

Jose Salazar (1-0, 1 KO) wins by knockout at :33 of the second round over Alton Jaurigui (0-1)

Jaurigui took a knee from a flurry of punches which was preceded by a good body blow at the end of the first

round (was up at the count of eight). In the second round, Jaurigui went down from a left to the body and

couldn't get up and was counted out.

 

Featherweight Bout (4 Rds)

Luis Cervantes (4-1-2, 1 KO) wins a unanimous decision over Jorge Villa (3-3) - Judges scored the bout

39-37, 39-37, 39-37 for Cervantes.

 

Featherweight Bout

Tomas Villa (15-5-3, 9 KOs) wins by third round TKO (towel) over Miguel Escamilla (19-7-1, 14 KOs)

Escamilla's corner stopped the bout after the third round ended because Escamilla could not continue -

Escamilla penalized a point in the second round for an intentional head-butt. Escamilla penalized a point in

the third round for a low blow.

 

Super Bantamweight Bout (4 Rds)

Jaime Villa (2-1, 1 KO) wins by knockout at 2:16 of the first round over Jimmy Ibarra (0-5)

Ibarra went down from a left hook to the body and couldn't get up - ref waived the fight over without

completing the 10 count.
