In the third round, Evangelista got hit with a right and fell backwards into the corner (ropes held him up) - the

ref gave him a standing eight count...then the ref asked Evangelista to walk toward him and when

Evangelista hesitated and was looking down, the ref stopped the bout.

NABF Super Lightweight Title Bout - vacant (10 Rds)

Lamont Peterson (26-0, 12 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Lanardo Tyner (19-2, 11 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 98-91, 99-87, 99-90 for Peterson. Peterson wins title. In the third round, Peterson penalized

a point for low blows.

WBA Interim Super Flyweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Jorge Arce (51-4-1, 39 KOs) wins by TKO at :48 of the 4th rd over Isidro Garcia (25-6-2, 8 KOs)

In the fourth round, Garcia downed to a knee form a left to the body (up at the count of seven) - the fight

resumed and Arce swarmed Garcia with a flurry of punches against the ropes and the ref jumped in and

stopped the bout. Arce retains title.

IBF & IBO Flyweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Nonito Donaire (20-1, 13 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:31 of the 6th rd over Moruti Mthalane (22-2, 15 KOs)

Fight stopped due to a bad cut on the left eyelid of Mthalane. Donaire retains title.

Middleweight Bout (10 Rds)

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (38-0-1, 29 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Matt Vanda (39-8, 22 KOs) -

Judges scored the bout 99-91, 97-93, 98-92 for Chavez.
