Small wins Commonwealth title from Hall and wins vacant British title.

 

Super Middleweight Bout (4 Rds)

Billy Joe Saunders (3-0, 3 KOs) wins by TKO at 1:21 of the 2nd round over Matt Scriven (13-53, 1 KO)

 

Welterweight Bout (4 Rds)

Frankie Gavin (3-0, 3 KOs) wins by second round TKO over Graham Fearn (4-3, 1 KO)

In the second round, Fearn downed with a left to the body (up at the count of eight).....the fight resumed and

after a bit of time, Gavin caught Fearn with a straight left that sent Fearn back and down on his seat - Fearn

got up at the count of eight but the ref took a good look and decided to stop the bout.

 

Super Middleweight Bout (4 Rds)

James DeGale (3-0,2 KO) wins by TKO at the end of the first round over Ciaran Healy (10-11-1, 2 KOs)

Towards the end of the first round, Healy downed with four body shots (up at the count of eight)...the fight

resumed and DeGale pounced on Healy sending him to a knee from a number of punches as the bell rang to

end the round...and at almost the same time as the bell rang (just a second later), Healy's corner threw in

the towel.

 

WBA Super Lightweight Title Bout (12 Rds)

Amir Khan (21-1, 15 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Andriy Kotelnik (31-3-1, 13 KOs) - Judges

scored the bout 120-108, 118-111, 118-111 for Khan - Khan wins title from Kotelnik
