- August 15, 2009: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas, Nevada WBA Super Flyweight Interim Title Bout (12 Rds) Nonito Donaire (22-1, 14 KOs) wins a unanimous decision over Rafael Concepcion (13-4-1, 8 KOs) - Judges scored the bout 117-111, 115-113, 116-112 for Donaire
WBO Featherweight Title Bout (12 Rds) Steven Luevano (37-1-1, 15 KOs) wins by disqualification over Bernabe Concepcion (28-3-1, 16 KOs) - Concepcion was disqualified for flooring Luevano well after the bell rang to end the seventh round with a right hook (the bell rang to end the round...they were face to face and it looked like Luevano was gesturing to touch gloves with his right glove and Concepcion just threw a right hook and put Luevano down and out - Concepcion's trainer said his fighter didn't hear the bell).
