Submission Ink. heads
to Albuquerque Oct 17th
Boston Brawler and Front Row Productions present the Submission Ink. Grappling Tournament. The tournament takes place on October 17th as part of the three day long Rock The Ink Tattoo and Entertainment Festival (October 16-18) at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, NM. Submission Ink. Albuquerque marks the second stop along a nationwide tour with the first event having taken place in Providence, RI. Submission Ink is slated for a stop in Atlanta, GA after Albuquerque and then heads out for a six city tour in 2010.
All Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling Academies in the area (NM, TX, AZ, CO) are invited to participate. There is a $1,000.00 Absolute Division Champion Prize, cash prizes for Advanced and Intermediate divisions and Prize Packages for ALL divisions. Weigh-ins will be held from 9:00AM-Noon Sat Oct 17th. Registration fees are $30 for pre-registration and $35 at the door. Registration gets you access to all Rock The Ink activities for the day (Oct 17th).
In addition to the Submission Ink. Grappling Tournament there will also be a special MMA All-Star Autograph Session featuring the areas biggest talent. Included in the autograph session is a special book signing by Greg Jackson for his book "The Stand Up Game." The Autograph Session is available to anyone at the Rock The Ink Festival.
